Fluenta’s FGM160X works based on transit times measured with phase detection and cross correlation. The excitation signal is optimized for high and low velocities:
- Continuous Wave (CW) is used for full range of measurement
- Combination of Continuous Wave (CW) and Chirp signal (varying frequency, defined shape and duration) is used for low velocities.
